Easy Strawberry Pie (Vegan) by @eats.luscious⠀
𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘⠀
𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 - 𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧⠀
• 375g (3 cups) flour⠀
• 75g (1/3 cup) sugar⠀
• 250g (1 cup) vegan butter⠀
• 3-4 tbsp cold water⠀
𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 - 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚⠀
• 600-700g (5 cups) fresh strawberries⠀
• 3 tbsp Flour⠀

𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚⠀
• Whipped vegan coconut cream⠀
𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦⠀
1. For the crust: Combine flour and sugar, add cold butter cubes and cold water and mix well until a smooth ball forms. It shouldn’t be sticky.⠀
2. Wrap the dough into cling film and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.⠀
3. For the filling: Clean and cut your strawberries, coat them with the flour.⠀
4. Roll out 2/3 of the dough on a floured surface in a round shape. Put the dough into a tart form (I used 30cm (12 inches), but you can use a smaller one as well). Add the strawberries on top.⠀
5. Roll out the rest of the dough, then cut out some strips and use a cookie cutter to cut out some flowers and leaves. Decorate the pie as you like. Coat the crust with vegan milk or cream.⠀
6. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C (360 °F) for 45-50 mins.⠀
7. Decorate with whipped vegan coconut cream. Enjoy!⠀
